Airport
Cancun’s international airport is the country’s second
busiest airport after Mexico City. Located just eight kilometers (5 miles) from
the city, five kilometers (3 miles) from the Hotel Zone and 379 kilometers
(235.5 miles) from state capital, Chetumal, the airport covers an 800-hectare
area (1977 acres).
